Israeli Soccer fans cause massive riots, Amsterdam locals fight back, get labeled a “Pogrom”

Written by Daniel Mercado | Edited by Claire Blair

Yesterday, Maccabi Tel Aviv F.C. played against AFC Ajax, losing 5-0. This loss spurred a massive riot in Amsterdam, with reports of Israeli Hooligans burning Palestinian flags, shouting anti-Arab racial slurs, harassing taxi drivers, and even shouting and booing during a minute of silence for the 200 plus lives lost in the Valencia Floods. [1]

According to an Al Jazeera article, the Israeli soccer fans were heard yelling, “Let the IDF win, and f*** the Arabs!” [1]

Western News Media is labeling anti-Zionist backlash in response to these protests as Anti-Semitic Attacks, when in fact the Israeli Soccer fans attacked first by causing massive riots and civil unrest. Despite this, some News organizations are even going so far describing anti-Zionist efforts being reminiscent of a “pogrom.” [2]
