UN Report Confirms Israeli War Crimes

Four days ago, the United Nations’ Independent Commission on Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel issued their report detailing the war crimes against the Palestinian population by the Israeli Occupation Forces. The Commission reports on forced disappearances, Israeli Police and Military officials torturing Palestinians, and worst of all, systematic usage of sexual violence as a tool for the dehumanization of the Palestinian hostages. [1]

The report also goes into detail on the deliberate targeting of medical officials by the IOF and the starvation of Gaza through the Israeli blockade. [2]

To quote the report, “Israel carried out 498 attacks on health-care facilities in the Gaza Strip. A total of 747 persons were killed directly in those attacks and 969 others were injured, and 110 facilities were affected. (emphasis added) [3]
